Oldest and largest winter resort in Bulgaria - resort of the champions!
Location: on the northern slopes of the mountains Rila in the age-old pine-tree forest, in the foot of highest in the Balkan Peninsula peak Musala (2925m), into 75km from Sofia, into 126km from Plovdiv, into 10km from Samokov. Snow cover in winter reaches to 1,5m. Exceptional nature and modern technical construction - these are fascination and the advantage of the mountain resort.

Conditions for the ski sport: 12 ski cloakrooms, ski service, ski school, above 200 ski teachers, ski kindergarten. Ski routes are located in the regions: SITNYAKOVO - 4 routes (1 average difficulty and 3 difficult), MARTINOVI BARRACKI - 4 routes (difficult), YASTREBETS - 3 routes (2 difficult and 1 very difficult) MARKUDZHIK - the most alpine - 4 routes (difficult). International ski federation for the gigantic slalom affirms one of them - Markudzhike. In two kilometers are located other routes for ski races and biathlon, ski springboards for the leaps by length 75m and 50m.
