The town of NESEBAR - a wonderful place for leisure that makes it possible to combine the sea and the beach with the possibilities which urban life gives - museums, architecture, services and communications. The history of this town dates thousands of years in the past. Three thousand years are considered proved, but each year archaeologists discover new tracks of ancient cultures and civilizations, which lived in the peninsula. The unique atmosphere here is created by the remainders of an antique port and fortress walls, by small alleys, ancient houses with wooden oriels and external stairs, the remainders of medieval churches. Since 1983 NESEBAR is inscribed in the world list of the monuments of UNESCO.
